Dear Megan,
Just over two and a half years ago, I adopted Travis from you. I
wanted to thank you for what you do and thank you for rescuing
Travis. He brought me much joy in a short time. Today I
received his ashes. I'm sad to say that he died last week of
cardiac arrest at the emergency vet here in Escondido, we're
not sure why, he seemed healthy and happy. My husband and I
and our two other dogs are missing him greatly. He was a
beautiful boy, always full of love for all of us and everyone he
met.
I've attached a picture of Travis right after his haircut last
summer. He was a very funny boy, and entertained us with his
goofy antics. He often howled or barked at the camera, like this
picture. I'm so very grateful that you brought sweet Travis into
our lives. I know he was lucky to have us, but we were the
luckiest to have him.
