Toby's new forever home

Megan,

Toby did well on the ride home and has begun to learn his way around the kitchen and living room.  He
is a really sweet boy.  It looks like everyone will get along fine.

Toby continues to adjust to life in our household.  Today he supervised electrical work and helped put
on window trim and ceiling molding (it does make these tasks more challenging to accomplish with Toby’
s head between your knees).  The other dogs can’t quite figure out why he doesn’t respond when they
bark.  We have been taking him out regularly for bathroom sessions using the kitchen door, and he
seems to be catching on that is where he needs to go out – he has started to stand in front of the door
and bark when he wants out.

Interestingly, he barks when I turn out my bedroom light at night, is this something he has done
before?  We also now have the first dog in 15 years who will howl.  We are enjoying him and learning
how to help him around.  He really is a cutie.

Megan;

Just thought I would forward a few photos to show you how well Toby is adjusting to our family and our
family to him.  We are working on leash walking so he can join in on walks in the park next.
