JOJO'S PAGE

JoJo was a little restless so we took here to visit some other Aussies. She
picked the dog she wanted us to bring home. We did and that was Jack.
They became fast friends and JoJo taught Jack all of her rituals.
How to catch and bring back the fresbee (jack had no idea)
How to greet us
Where she could and could not sleep and get on
Greetings and where she stayed and how to get in and out of the house,
the edge of the yard,
How to go on our evening walks.
JoJo got slower and slower, just slowed down. Didn’t eat much and could
hardly make it on the evening walk. So I took her to the Vet. She did
some x-rays and the Vet was not sure but sent me to the ER Vet, she was
really worried. JoJo was slow and could hardly get in the car, I put her in,
she licked me.
I drove to the ER and when I got there she was unconscious. They took
her in and revived her. They were not sure but they thought she had lung
cancer. There were spots all through the lungs. JoJo told me she was
done. I held her and they put her out. She was almost dead in the car
and I should have let it be—but she was a really great family member. Her
ashes rest today on a shelf in my closet, JoJo’s favorite place.
It is a long story but one to tell. I believe that JoJo knew she was ailing –
even dieing. She picked and trained her replacement. That is what I
believe.
Se lives today on my screen saver in picture of both Jack and JoJo—copy
