DAISY'S PAGE
Daisy was rescued from the Lake
Elsinore animal shelter when she was
9 yrs old.  She was adopted by a
wonderful lady who spoils her and has
given her the life she deserves.

she is truly the best thing that has ever happened to me! i love her so dearly! and she has come such
a long way in the last year! when i first got her, her arthritis was really bugging her, she was really
hurting, to where if i touched her back at times, she would cry! too sad!  she weighed 45 pounds a
needed to trim down a bit to help the arthritis (she also has herniated discs, according to the vet,
which accounts for the shaking in her front paws), believe it or not her cholesterol was high, she was
afraid of strangers, didn't do well in public settings, and was even more afraid when people came over
to the house. now, her arthritis is completely under control with the help of just liquid glucosamine (she
can actually jump off the ground, she can stretch her whole body out, which she couldn't do a year
ago), the hot spots she had on her tail are long gone, and have never returned (give her vitamin e
and also derm caps in her food daily) she is a happy-go-lucky girl who loves the dog park! her
cholesterol is back to normal, she now weighs 37.5 pounds and is the talk of the town. everybody just
thinks she is sooo pretty and so sweet. she is not the most outgoing dog with people in general
(except for me of course, and my son! she loves him too!)..still guarded, but getting much better. she
talks to me (which is so cute!), especially when there are treats in my hands or when i ask if she wants
to go for a walk! and at the dog park, her favorite thing is to get on top of archie, her "boyfriend" :) (i
think she forgets she doesn't have the right kind of "plumbing" :) TOO PRECIOUS! I love her, plain and
simple. I will take some pics over the weekend and e-mail them to you so you can see her. She is really
the ultimate pet! loving, just wants to be with me, sleeps on the pillow next to mine (her favorite spot!).
I'm glad you wrote!  I am  considering a cat (or two), as i have found out she loves kitties! there is one
here, a few doors a way, who's name is kid. he waits for us every night, and he goes for walks with us.
they eat grass together, kiss eachother, rub up against eachother! it's pretty amazing!
